Handiprint material is a flexible, very slightly elastic plastic. It is white in color and has an exceptiionally smooth, adhesive coating.  It has distinct advantages for handprinting over ink methods because it will often conform to the curves of the palm with minimal slippage.

Process:

1. Lightly dust palm side of hand with black fingerprint powder.
2. Separate release paper from handiprint lifter material (HLM).  Spread fingers and press hand on adhesive side of HLM.
3. Lift hand.  HLM will adhere.  Press HLM in center of palm, along length of each finger, and around the sides of fingertips.  Press around thumb as much as possible.
4. Lightly redust thumb.  Roll thumb on the HLM as you would for an inked print.  Cover HLM with a piece of clear plastic.  Write identifying information on back of HLM.
