Choose between four pairs or eight pairs of individually sealed tablets. Each packet contains one reagent tablet and one catalyst tablet. Dissolve both tablets in distilled water and spray with a fine mist atomizer. Each pair will produce 125 ml (4 oz) of solution. Eight pairs will produce 1 liter (32 oz).

Blood Detection
Ecospray is a small fully self-contained sprayer with a disposable gas pressure reservoir that applies fluids with a fine spray of mist. The perfect mist quality evenly coats and distributes particles on the target area. To ensure strong luminescence and good quality pictures, it is recommended that Ecospray be used in conjunction with Bluestar® Forensic Magnum, which produces a more intense and longer-lasting reaction than regular Bluestar®.

TESTING A SAMPLE
THE NIK pouches contain one, two or three chemical ampoules. The clip is removed, and a toothpick full of suspected drug is added. The clip is replaced, and the glass ampoules containing reagents are broken in the proper sequence following instructions. The color, or lack of color, should be noted between 5 and 60 seconds after the reagents and the suspected drug have mixed.
Pouch should be held in front of a white piece of paper to determine proper color.

ESP900 Electrostatic Dust Print Lifter Kit
One of the most overlooked forms of physical evidence at the crime scene is impression evidence. This is largely due to a lack of specific training in the proper search, collection and preservation techniques and procedures.
Locating and recovering obvious impressions from mud, dirt or blood are usually accomplished, but dust prints found in many indoor crime scenes are often overlooked and many times damaged or obliterated.
By using the Electrostatic Dust Print Lifter Kit, prints left in the dust of a floor, light soil from a criminal's shoes, or impressions made on overlooked areas such as dusty walls or doors can be recovered.
The ESP900 Electrostatic Dust Print Lifter consists of a high voltage power supply/control unit, a nickel-plated steel ground plane and a metalized lifting medium. Older electrostatic models required the use of two lifting mats—one positively charged and one negatively charged. Our latest electrostatic lifter uses only one metalized plastic sheet and a metal ground plane. As high voltage is applied to the lifting mat, it takes on a negative charge and the ground plane becomes positive. Any dust present under the mat will take on a positive charge and will then be attracted to the negatively charged collection mat. A dust print that is transferred to the lifting mat will appear as a precise mirror image of the original print and lifts made from rough-surfaced floor tile or irregular flooring of any kind are facilitated using this method.

Hemastix, Bottle of 50
Hemastix are 3" plastic strips with a special blood reagent material at the tip. The strips detect the peroxide-like activity of hemoglobin in a substance. Simply rub the Hemastix on a moistened stain or across a swab that has a suspected dried blood sample on it. The reagent coated tip will turn a shade of green if hemoglobin is detected. Compare the color reaction to the chart on the side of the bottle to determine the level of hemoglobin in the sample. If the reaction is positive, take a photograph of the strip by the substance to document the reaction and retain the strip as evidence. Expired Hemastix® will generally still react to the presence of blood, but should only be used for training purposes. Please note that Hemastix® will not detect the difference between human and animal blood. Also can be used to detect blood in urine.

Report Lettering Guide
The Report Lettering Guide is the same size and material as the Double Traffic Template Set, the Boat Template Set and the Sniper Template and will fit in the leatherette case provided with each of those products. The 4" X 8" size means it will also fit in most ticket book holders. The lettering guide has two different size slots (1/4" and 3/16") for printing. The guide lines printed on the template can be used to achieve even spacing between lines.
