Ardrox Fluorescent Dye

 

The fluorescent dye is designed for enhancing latent prints developed with cyanoacrylate.  It saturates the latent print surface and remains in minute crevices to provide excellent ridge details.  Ardrox treated prints fluoresce YELLOW/GREEN.  Use U.V. lamps, forensic light sources, or lasers to view results.  Ardrox is available in 500ml spray bottle or 1 quart (946ml) container.

Crystal Violet has two uses.  It can be used to develop latent fingerprints on plastics and other surfaces, or it can be used as theft detection powder.  When used for the development of fingerprints, Crystal Violet works well on the adhesive side of Scotch, electrical and Kraft tape.  *Technical note available on request.  When using the powder for theft detection, apply to the surface using a fingerprint brush.  Once the powder is on the person's hand, it turns violet.
